When you buy a car, the most important is to not let yourself distracted by how the car looks. You don’t buy it for an exhibition (or most of the people don’t!) and you don’t buy it for your neighbors or friends. So, the functionality is more important than the styling.
You have to think about how you will use your car and to answer to some questions, before taking the proper decision:
• What type of driving do you do: mostly around town, mostly on the freeway or mostly off road? This answer will help you understand if you need all-wheel drive. Most of us, we don’t, unless we drive frequently in wintry climes.
• How important is fuel economy for you? In the past, Diesel presented some advantages, but today the price can change quickly is not so easy to choose.
• What cargo capacity do you need? Will you go by car in holydays or you often carry things from one point to another? If you need a fuel-efficient car, a hybrid will probably be the best choice for you.
• What features your next car should have? Think about GPS navigation system, ABS (Anti-lock brakes), side airbags or a rear-seat DVD player.
