British Drivers in Formula 1, after the first 4 grand-prix

Lewis Hamilton started badly the 2014 Formula 1 season, dropping out after only four laps at Australian grand-prix. But then, all went almost perfect for the Briton. He won Malaysian, Bahrain and Chinese grand-prix and now, with 75 points, he is the second in the drivers’ top, only 4 points behind his Mercedes team-mate, the German Nico Rosberg.

Daimler's Global Expansion: 350 000 Vehicles in China

In 2013, the Daimler factory from Beijing, China, built 120 000 Mercedes-Benz cars. Rene Reif, the head of manufacturing at Beijing Benz Automotive declared that, by the end of this year, production capacity in China will be about 140 000 cars.

British Drivers at Bahrain Grand-Prix: Hamilton Wins Again

Excellent start for Lewis Hamilton, in 2014 Formula 1! At Australian Grand Prix, he was forced to retire, but then he won Malaysian and Bahrain Gran Prix. Max Chilton finished 13th and Jenson Button couldn’t finish the race.

After being forces to retire at the first race of the season, Australian Grand Prox, the British driver Lewis Hamilton won Malaysian Grand-Prix. He was on pole position in both races.

British Drivers at Australian Grand-Prix: Button 4th, Chilton 14th, Hamilton dropped-out

German Nico Rosberg, from Mercedes, won Sunday's Australian Grand Prix, the first stage of the Formula 1 Championship 2015, while fellow Briton Lewis Hamilton and quadruple world champion German Sebastian Vettel (Red Bull) dropped out after only four, namely five laps.

Motorways in UK: A3 (London - Portsmouth)

A3 connects London and Portsmourh, passing close to Kingston upon Thames, Guildford, Haslemere and Petersfield. 

Known as Portsmouth Road it’s importance is reflected by the importance of the two cities connected by A3: London, the capital of United Kingdom, and Portsmouth, a significant naval port for centuries, that even today is the only British city with a population density higher than London (13.330 inhabitants for each square mile, compared to 12.910 inhabitants for a square mile, in London).

Born on 19 January 1980, Jenson Button, MBE was the 2009 Formula One World Champion, driving for Brawn GP.

Motorways in UK: A1 (M)


The A1(M) motorway, upgrading sections of the A1 road, connects the capital of England with the capital of Scotland. 

The A1 is the longest numbered road in the United Kingdom, with 660 kilometers (410 miles) from London to Edinburgh. A1 passes through North London, Hatfield, Welwyn Garden City, Stevenage, Letchworth, Huntingdon, Peterborough, Grantham, Newark-upon-Trent, Retford, Doncaster, Leeds, York, Ripon, Darlington, Gateshead, Newcastle upon Tyne and Berwick-upon-Tweed.

New races in Formula 1 2014: Austria and Russia


In the revised calendar for the 2014 world championship, published by FIA, there are two new races, in Austria and Russia. Other three races listed as provisional on the original 2014 schedule, in USA, South Korea and Mexico, do not feature in the revised calendar.

The Austrian Grand Prix was held first time in 1964, then between 1970-1987 and between 1997-2003. In the past, there were different locations for this grand prix.

M40 is a motorway connecting London to Birmingham, part of the European Route E 05, running from Greenock, Scotland, to Algeciras, Spain. 

M40 cover a distance of 89 miles (143 kilometers) and passes through four counties: Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire and Warwickshire.

M25, the London Orbital Motorway


M25, the London Orbital Motorway, is, with over 150 000 vehicles recorded in a single busy day, one of the busiest motorways. It is also the second longest orbital road in Europe, after Berliner Ring, which is 122 miles. M25 has 117 miles (188 kilometers).
