New races in Formula 1 2014: Austria and Russia

In the revised calendar for the 2014 world championship, published by FIA, there are two new races, in Austria and Russia. Other three races listed as provisional on the original 2014 schedule, in USA, South Korea and Mexico, do not feature in the revised calendar.

Red Bull Ring, Austria, 20-22 June

The Austrian Grand Prix was held first time in 1964, then between 1970-1987 and between 1997-2003. In the past, there were different locations for this grand prix.
In 1964, the race took place on the Zeltweg Airfield. From 1970 until 1987, the event was held at the Österreichring (translated literally as "Austrian circuit") (also located near Zeltweg). Then, A1-Ring, hosted the Austrian Grand Prix from 1997 to 2003.
After being rebuilt and renamed as Red Bull Ring, the circuit was reopened on May 2011 and will return to Formula 1 calendar in 2014.

Russian Grand Prix in Sochi, 10-12 October

On 12 October 2014, the sixteenth race of the 2014 Formula One season will take place at the Sochi International Street Circuit.
The Sochi International Street Circuit is similar to Circuit Gilles Villeneuve and the Sydney Olympic Park Circuit in that it will run around a venue used for Olympic competition.
It has 5.872 kilometers (3.649 miles) length and 19 turns.
