Three Interesting Electric Cars

Tesla Model S

The Tesla Model S was the World Green Car of the Year, in 2013 and it was also Automobile Magazine's 2013 Car of the Year.

This full-sized electric five-door liftback produced by Tesla Motors was showed in public for the first time at Frankfurt Motor Show, in 2009, as a prototype. Then, the first deliveries took place in USA in June 2012 and in Europe in the summer of 2013.
Tesla Model S has a top speed capacity of 125mph. It can go from 0-60mph in just 5.6 seconds.  The car is available for a base price of 70 000 dollars (42 000 pounds) . It has a 362 horsepower motor and is a 5-seater vehicle.


Nissan Leaf



LEAF is actually an acronym for Leading – Environmentally friendly – Affordable – Family Car. Being an all-electric car, Nissan Leaf produces no tailpipe pollution.
The Nissan Leaf is a compact five-door hatchback electric car, first sold in Japan and in USA, in December 2010. It was the 2011 European Car of the Year and the 2011 World Car of the Year.
Nissan Leaf has a 73-mile range and can reach a top speed of 90mph.


Honda Fit EV



Honda Fit EV was showed in public for the first time in 2010, at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
Honda Fit EV concept has an all-electric range of 70 to 100 miles and a top speed of 90 miles per hour.
It is run a by 20 kWh battery pack made from lithium-ion. It has a quick acceleration feature and the ability to recharge quickly. The car can go from having a dead battery to being 100 percent charged in just 3 hours.
